great use of black and white. I also liked the scene that was out of focus with you wrapping your arms around yourself. The music worked very well also.
It was a good decision to keep the main subject out of focus in the beginning so she isn't revealed until the end. I thought it was a good music choice as well.
The acting was good! The black and white made sense. And the music sounded like it was out of one of those abused animal commercials. So perfect for your emotion! The shots in the beginning were blurry which seemed fine but I wasn't sure what it was.
I liked the thought of your video. I wish more of the scenes would have been in focus. I think it would have worked better if you had a better transition in the ending of the video, like into a black frame or something similar. I thought you did a great job acting, good crying scene!
I thought it was done really well, portrayed sadness perfectly, I honestly just wish there was more. I wasn't ready for the abrupt ending. Some of the shots were confusing, the blurring shots worked well though.
Really liked pretty much the whole thing but my favorite part was the close up on the face showing the tears, that was the perfect touch to the whole thing and really convey the feeling of sadness brilliantly though at one point I was hoping to see the tears trail down a bit so when they stayed kind of static I was left wanting just a bit more.
I really liked the angles and the close ups. I liked that in the beginning, it was slightly out of focus and that emphasized sadness to me. The darkness helped a lot. Loved it!
I like that you were out of focus in the beginning shot of you on the floor and then it progressed into more clear and close up shots of you crying. Good acting!!! The music was really good as well. I think you should have fading the ending instead of cutting it right in the middle of you crying.
Man! that was sad! but the ending needed just a little more and it would have been perfect! The end shot seemed to already linger so maybe just slowly fade out the last shot to dark as well as fading out the music to accompany it. The blurriness, song, bw, everything went very well together.
One of the more powerful representations of emotion we've watched. The acting is on point and seems genuine. The blur is a great touch. The moving shots of the leafs and flowers is very well composed.
Definitely easy to see the sadness in this video. I really liked the floor shots - for some reason they just worked for me. The blurry part at the beginning worked well as well. I think the ending would have been better with another blurred shot and slow fade to black.
The music was a good choice, but I thought the close-up of you at the end was a little long. The shot right before it with the close-up of the cheek was really neat though.
The blurriness in the beginning really helped to set the mood. Good acting

ReplyDeletethe ending was a bit abrupt, but the acting, color choice, and music was very appropriate. well done!
